Portable Pop-Up Office: All-in-One Cardboard Furniture Set
Pop-up books brought a complex and seemingly hi-tech three-dimensionality to otherwise 2D volumes for the entertainment of children. Likewise, this all-in-one cardboard office folds from two opposing flat panels right out into an engaging desk-and-chair set.
Unfortunately, this is more art than architecture – the cardboard parts are not strong enough to support real weight. It is, however, a great designer concept that will have more and more realistic applications as in innovations material science and structural design continue.
